Paola Anziché was born in Milan and currently resides and works in Turin and Milan.
Having graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and the Städelschule in Frankfurt, Germany, she is one of the winners of the 12th edition of the Italian Council (2023/24).
She explores the relationship between the practice and transmission of traditional weaving techniques and biodiversity through the use of natural fibers.
Her work has been exhibited in prestigious Italian and international institutions, such as Muse Museo delle Scienze Trento, the Tashkeel Gallery, Dubai; the National Mountain Museum, Turin; the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum, Florence; Turner Contemporary in Margate, England; the XXI International Triennial, Milan; Kichik QalArt in Yarat, Baku, Azerbaijan; the Remotti Foundation, Camogli; the GAM – Gallery of Modern Art, Turin; MAMbo – Museum of Modern Art, Bologna; the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, Turin; and Careof, Milan. She has participated in residency programs in Bolivia, Guatemala, Brazil, Azerbaijan, Finland, United Arab Emirates, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
